BFFs are great. I love my BFFs. My NPBFF Caitlin picks up on everything that I like, so when she surprised me for Christmas with this Breaking Bad inspired polish from Bliss Polish, I was coloured impressed! I love Breaking Bad so much and I hail it as one of the greatest television shows that we'll see in this life time. Now I wish I could have headed over to Bliss Polish's store to get a description but unfortunately it was under maintenance at the time of me writing this and I see from their Facebook page that this polish (along with the rest of their BrBa collection) is discontinued! Aw, it was a good run.
Bliss Polish Crystal Blue Persuasion was named after the song used in Breaking Bad when Walter's 'signature product' started going international. This polish is a "Tiffany blue-esque" jelly base with the right amount of shimmer to still be subtle, and a healthy dollop of teal and silver hex glitters. The jelly base is a bit thin, so you'll have to shake up the bottle before you apply as some of the hexes tend to collect at the bottom. Application wise, it does build up quite nicely, creating a nice squishy look and the hex glitters are a nice addition to create depth. Here's three coats with a Seche Vite top coat finish:
I don't have any others from the rest of the collection but I am glad I got this one because it was the most appealing to me. I like it! Probably because of the Tiffany blue-esque and Breaking Bad reference - a winner for me!
Do you have any Breaking Bad themed polishes? Have you tried any Bliss Polish? This is a new indie brand to me, so if any of you have anything to say about Bliss Polish, let me know! Happy Hump Day! (Is that a thing to say to people? I don't even know anymore, haha.)
